Hey y’all! It’s been a while, right?
So, I was on a conference call this morning and it wasn’t my turn to talk and I had ZERO interest in what’s going on, so naturally, I jumped on Twitter, and discovered this:
Now, I totally wanted to read this book anyway. I respect Megan McCain’s willingness to cross “party lines” and MIB is effing hilarious. And I’m not loving the Augusten Burroughs book I’m currently reading (and may have recommended as this month’s LitLawyers book. Oops).
The idea of a blogger book club is new to me and really cool. Books have trend cycles and people end up reading the same things and blogging/posting about it anyway (hello, Hunger Games), so why not coordinate it? Also, FREE BOOKS Y’ALL.
So I signed up. Do I think I will actually get picked? No. Am I hoping Mandy will actually visit my blog and see this? Yes. Am I hoping this shameless plug for her blog (which is pretty awesome) will help sway her to pick me? Definitely.
